Bacardi Cocktail - The firm of Bacardi Cia, proprietors of the Bacardi trademark, objected to the use of the name of Bacardi as applied to any drink not made with Bacardi rum. A New York Supreme Court Ruling in 1937 decreed in the firm's favour and Bacardi Cia have exclusive to the use of the name.
Ingredients:
Ice cube
1 ½ measure Bacardi white rum.
1 measure lime juice
½ measure gomme syrup
1 teaspoon grenadine
Method :
- Half fill the shaker with ice cubes.
- Add the lime, grenadine, gomme syrup and Bacardi Rum.
- Shake well and strain into a champagne saucer/cocktail glass and garnish with a
cherry on a stick.
