Affinity - A classic cocktail from Harry Craddock's The Savory Cocktail Book, the affinity was one of the most fashionable aperitifs of the 1920s.
Ingredients:
Ice cubes
1 measure Scotch whisky
1 measure rosso vermouth
1 measure dry vermouth
1 dash bitters
1 lemon twist
Method :
- Half fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and pour in the two vermouth.
- Add the scotch and the dash of bitters and stir.
- Strain into a cocktail glass and squeeze the lemon twist over the
glass and then discard it.
